Holostatic is a solo audio project creating cinematic electronic music for story, solitude and world building.
The project moves between tension, tenderness and total immersion, using electronic production and sound design to transform the space it inhabits.
Music that builds worlds
Holostatic makes cinematic electronic music designed to suggest places, scenes and emotional states without prescribing a single story. Each release treats sound as a narrative material: texture creates atmosphere, restraint creates pressure and melody gives the listener something human to hold onto.
The work is created in Logic Pro and shaped through deliberate constraints. The goal is not to fill every available space, but to make each sound earn its place. That approach runs through albums including Fragile Shards of Dreams, The Philosophy of Logic and Logic in the Face of Apocalypse.
A catalogue with a clear evolution
The first four Holostatic releases were made as an outlet: places to convert pressure, uncertainty and emotional overload into sound. Their ideas move between fracture and control, but each one contributes to the same developing language of cinematic electronics, ambient space and detailed sound design.
The fifth album, Earned Indifference to the Chaos of Fate, is due for release on 4 January 2027. It returns to those roots with more experience and a more mature, soundtrack-focused perspective. Where the earlier records often worked as an outlet, this one is intended as relief: a summation of the depth reached so far and a calmer relationship with the forces that shaped it. Writing and process
The Holostatic essays document the thinking behind the work: originality, loops, sound design, creative tools and the decisions that turn an idea into a finished piece of music. They are written from direct production experience and connect practical craft with the larger questions that surround authorship in electronic music.
